Museum of Porcelain in Wałbrzych

The Museum of Porcelain in Wałbrzych is a unique place dedicated to the history and art of porcelain, located at 1 Maja Street 9. The institution was founded in 1908 on the initiative of the Society of Antiquities of the Wałbrzych Land, and since 1926 it has been housed in the former Albertich Palace. The museum's collection comprises over 35,000 artifacts, including about 15,000 pieces of porcelain and ceramics, mainly from Silesia and other parts of Europe. Visitors can admire not only porcelain but also paintings, antique furniture, and artistic craftsmanship. The venue offers temporary exhibitions, educational workshops, and attractions for children, making it an interesting destination for both adults and families. There is also a museum shop where souvenirs can be purchased. The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and on Mondays from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. It is an excellent place for art and history lovers as well as anyone wishing to explore the heritage of Lower Silesia.
