Mining and Motorsports Museum
The Mining and Motorsports Museum in Wałbrzych, run by Jerzy Mazur, is a unique place combining the history of motor sports with motorsport legends. It features unique memorabilia of Ayrton Senna, including a monument commemorating his Formula 1 achievements. The museum also pays tribute to Marian Bublewicz, a rally champion who made his mark in the history of Polish motorsport. Visitors can admire original trucks from the Paris-Dakar rally, legendary racing cars, motorcycles, suits, trophies and other exhibits related to Polish and world motorsport. It is a fascinating journey through the world of adrenaline, emotions and automotive history. In addition to post-mining monuments, visitors can see rally cars, racing cars, motorcycles, as well as personal belongings of Polish and foreign competitors. A burnt Celica of Krzysztof Hołowczyc, an original suit and helmet and memorabilia of Marian Bublewicz, personal memorabilia of Maciej Wisławski, Robert Kubica, Maciej Szczepaniak, Jarek Baran, Xavier Panseri, Nasser Al Attiyah, Fernando Alonso and others. The whole is crowned by an exhibition and a beautiful bronze monument of Ayrton Senna. The museum is located on the Lower Silesian Monument of Technology Route. It is an attraction for the whole family!
