Grodzisko in Lubin

Grodzisko in Lubin is a medieval stronghold from the 10th–12th century, located on Wolin Island in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. The site combines history with beautiful views – from the viewpoint, you can admire the panorama of the Szczecin Lagoon and 44 islands. Visitors can see the remains of a defensive settlement and learn about the history of the first church in Pomerania. On-site, there is a café and restaurant offering coffee, cakes, and lunch dishes. The stronghold also offers guided tours and hosts cultural events, such as the „Po-Morskie Opowieści” series. This attraction is suitable for families with children, school groups, couples, and seniors. The site is open seasonally – from late March to November, with varying opening hours depending on the month. Admission is free, and public transport stops nearby. It is an ideal place to spend 1–3 hours, combining historical education with relaxation in nature.
