Grodzisko Lubin is an early medieval stronghold situated on the highest cliff above the Szczecin Lagoon, about 6 km south of Międzyzdroje on Wolin Island. The site features viewing terraces offering a panorama of the Szczecin Lagoon, an archipelago of 44 islands, the Świna River delta wetlands, and Lake Wicko Wielkie. Archaeological excavations revealed foundations of a Romanesque church from 1124 founded by St. Otto of Bamberg, a medieval residential tower, and a 12th–13th century cemetery. Artifacts such as Arabic dirhams from 951 AD indicate far-reaching trade links. The terraces are situated over 50 meters above sea level and equipped with telescopes. From here, visitors can observe birds, including the white-tailed eagle. The site is wheelchair- and stroller-accessible, and dogs are allowed. There is a café with a terrace and free toilets. It is open from May to September, daily 10:00–18:00 (until 20:00 in July and August). Admission is 5 PLN (concession 4 PLN), children under 5 free. Free parking is available; it is about 7–8 km from Międzyzdroje.
