Barbara Glassworks is a unique place in Polanica-Zdrój where the thousand-year tradition of glassmaking is continued. It is the only such workshop in the Kłodzko Valley that combines glass production demonstrations with a safe space for visitors. During a guided tour, you can learn about the history of glassmaking in the region and traditional techniques of its production. Visitors have the opportunity to watch a glassmaker at work, who shares insights about their craft, as well as an artist shaping colorful figurines from glass rods. The skill and speed of working with glass are truly impressive. For the youngest, painting workshops are available, lasting about 45 minutes and suitable for children aged 4 and above. You can paint even the finest details and colorful patterns on glass with a thin brush, and for the youngest artists, stencils are provided to make painting easier. The on-site shop offers a wide selection of Polish and foreign glass. The facility is open daily from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with workshops running from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. It is an ideal place for families, school groups, and anyone interested in artistic craftsmanship.
