The Golden Wedding Column was erected in 1791 in Oleśnica to commemorate the golden wedding anniversary, the 50th wedding anniversary, of the ducal couple Karl Christian of Württemberg and Maria Sophie, née Countess of Solms-Laubach. It is a small but historically notable commemorative monument.
