The Castle of the Dukes of Głogów is a medieval fortress in Głogów, Poland, built in the mid-13th century. Originally wooden, it was rebuilt in stone after a fire in 1291. Over the centuries, it hosted Polish kings, Emperor Leopold, and Napoleon. Damaged in 1945, it was restored between 1971 and 1983. Today, it houses the Archaeological-Historical Museum, showcasing exhibits on regional history. Visitors can admire the arcaded courtyard, tower, and grand hall with a ceiling painting. Exhibition halls are open Wednesday to Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. It is a perfect destination for history and architecture enthusiasts.
