📍 Duszniki-Zdrój, PL🕒 4+ hours

Duszniki-Zdrój is a spa town in the valley of the Bystrzyca Dusznicka river, in the Kłodzko region of Lower Silesia, Poland. It is known for its ferruginous acidulous mineral waters, used in treatments at sanatoriums and a pump room. Since 1946, the International Chopin Festival has been held here, attracting world-famous pianists and music lovers. The old town preserves a medieval layout with historic tenement houses and the ruins of Homole Castle. The surrounding Orlickie and Bystrzyckie mountains provide excellent hiking and skiing, especially at the Zieleniec ski resort. The Torfowisko pod Zieleńcem nature reserve is another attraction. Duszniki-Zdrój is ideal for seniors, couples, and anyone seeking relaxation in a mountain climate.
