Wolf's Lair
Wolf's Lair is the former headquarters of Adolf Hitler, located in the forest near Kętrzyn in the Masurian region. The complex covered about 250 hectares, with up to a hundred masonry buildings and as many wooden ones. Today, it is a popular tourist attraction where visitors can see the ruins of fortifications blown up in 1945. The site is explored along paved paths, accessible for wheelchair users and people with limited mobility. Informational boards and indoor exhibitions, open from April to October, are available. Visitors can also use an audio guide or join a guided tour lasting 75 to 120 minutes. The site is open all year round, with opening hours varying by season. Paid parking, a restaurant, a hotel, and a campsite are available on site. This historically significant place appeals to adults and families alike.
