Szczeliniec Wielki
Szczeliniec Wielki is the highest peak of the Table Mountains, rising to 919 m above sea level. It is located in Kudowa-Zdrój, within the Table Mountains National Park. The ascent from Karłów involves climbing about 680 stone steps. At the top, visitors find the PTTK shelter "Na Szczelińcu" and viewing terraces offering picturesque panoramas. Just behind the shelter begins a ticketed tourist route with limited entry, leading through the Liczyrzepa's Throne, a rock labyrinth, whimsical sandstone formations, and viewpoints. The deepest rock crevice is nearly 20 meters deep and often retains snow until June. The route forms a loop and takes about 2.5–3 hours to complete. Due to heavy tourist traffic, especially in summer and on May, June, September, October, and November weekends, it is advisable to purchase tickets online. The most comfortable visiting hours are in the morning (8:00–10:00) or afternoon (15:00–18:00). This attraction suits families with children over 6, as well as adults, seniors, and organized groups.
