Park Zasole Oświęcim

Park Zasole is a municipal park in Oświęcim, located in the Zasole housing estate between Więźniów Oświęcimia and Obozowa streets. It is one of several relaxation spots in the city, alongside the Park of Reconciliation of Nations, Peace Park, and the Soła River Boulevards. The park features a walking zone with flower pergolas, lush greenery, and small architectural elements. In the northeastern part, there is a health zone with paths, an outdoor gym, and a children's playground. At the center, a water curtain fountain provides a refreshing focal point. The park is illuminated and monitored, ensuring safety for evening strolls. The area was expanded and reforested to create a natural passage between the Memorial Site and the Zasole district. In the separate Alley of Trees of Peace, 17 trees from cities marked by history grow, and a small obelisk dedicated to cavalry officer Witold Pilecki stands. This park encourages walks and reflection, ideal for families, children, and anyone seeking outdoor recreation.
