The Palm House in Gliwice is a modern glass building located in the city center, within Chopina Park. It features five thematic pavilions housing over 5,500 plants, including giant palms, banana trees, citrus trees, succulents, and carnivorous plants. The aquarium pavilion showcases large tanks with fish from various continents, and the animal collection includes turtles, snakes, parrots, and an exotic squirrel. On-site amenities include a café with a viewing terrace, a plant shop, free cloakroom, and toilets. The facility is wheelchair accessible. Opening hours: Tuesday to Friday 9:00–18:00, weekends 10:00–18:00, closed on Mondays. Tickets are affordable: regular 10 PLN, reduced 6 PLN, family 20 PLN. It is a perfect year-round attraction for families, especially in winter when you can escape into a warm, green tropical environment.
