The Geonatura Geoeducation Center in Kielce is an interactive geological museum that takes visitors on a journey into the prehistoric world. It is located in the capital of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, a region famous for its rich fossils and the Świętokrzyskie Mountains. The main exhibition, titled 'CHRONOS Underwater Research Station', allows visitors to walk along the bottom of an ancient sea, observe life near the shore through periscopes, and admire reconstructed coral reefs and remains of prehistoric sharks. The tour can be taken individually, with a virtual guide (via QR code), or as a field game, which is especially appealing to families with children. The center also features a Geo-laboratory where visitors can learn how mountains and landslides are formed, as well as a 5D cinema where the film 'Time Capsule' transports viewers to the beginnings of life on Earth. On the roof of the building, there is a Geological Experience Garden with a model of the Solar System and views of the surrounding mountain ranges. Admission is free, but advance booking of tickets for a specific time is required. This place combines education with fun and is ideal for children aged 4 to 15, as well as for school trips. Nearby, there is a Botanical Garden that can be combined with a visit to the center.
