Wilanów Palace

Wilanów Palace is a Baroque residence of King Jan III Sobieski, located in the Wilanów district of Warsaw. The complex includes the palace, St. Anne's Church, the Potocki Mausoleum, and extensive gardens. The palace interiors impress with rich decoration, including the Chinese Cabinet and elegant fireplaces, while the façade bears the king's motto: "joining triumphs with peace." In St. Anne's Church, visitors can notice a mammoth bone hanging by a column and monuments of Polish hetmans. The Potocki Mausoleum commemorates the 19th-century owners who founded the first museum here.
