📍 Kąty Wrocławskie, PL🕒 4+ hours

Kąty Wrocławskie is a picturesque municipality located in the Bystrzyca Valley, just a few dozen kilometers from Wrocław. It encompasses nearly half of the Dolina Bystrzycy Landscape Park, one of the wildest and most charming areas near the city. In its historic center stands a 15th-century Gothic church of St. Peter and Paul, expanded in 1520, with a tower from 1825-1827. Nearby is the neo-Gothic town hall from 1879, incorporating a tower from 1613. The municipality boasts numerous palaces, including the Renaissance palace in Krobielowice (1570-1580) with a courtyard and arcades, the Neo-Renaissance palace in Kębłowice with distinctive turrets, and the late-classicist palace in Samotwór designed by Carl Gotthard Langhans. In Zabrodzie, the manor buildings and park remain after the former Habsburg hunting lodge. Other attractions include churches in Bogdaszowice and Jaszkotle, a Baroque palace in Kamionna, and ruins of a Renaissance castle in Smolec. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy over 50 km of municipal trails for hiking, cycling, and Nordic walking, as well as a kayaking route on the Bystrzyca River. There are horse riding stables and a golf course nearby. Kąty Wrocławskie is easily accessible via the A4 motorway or by train from Wrocław.
